Vaccinations
For any pet to relocate, their vaccinations must be up to date.
Dogs & puppies should have the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Canine Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Parvovirus
- Para-influenza
- Kennel Cough
Cats & kittens should have the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Feline Rhinotracheitis
- Calicivirus
- Panleukopenia
- Leukaemia

Travel Containers
There are strict travel container requirements for both domestic and international travel by air and these can vary based on the breed of your pet.
All pets need to be able to stand up in a natural position without the top of their head or tips of their ears if they stand up touching the inside roof of the containers, turn around with ease and lay down comfortably inside the container.
Airfreight fees, which is the bulk of your price, is not calculated using your pet’s actual weight.
The airlines charge airfreight fees based on the volumetric weight of the travel container as this is relative to the space it will take up in the cargo hold.
We require four measurements in order to determine the correct sized container your pet will need in accordance with airline regulations and the price to assist will be based on this information.

How Pets Travel
Pets travel as manifested cargo which means they are checked in for a flight at the cargo terminal and the airline staff are responsible for transport to the aircraft and loading of the pets onto the aircraft.
Depending on your type of travel, domestically or internationally, there are requirements for the amount of time prior to departure that your pet needs to be delivered to the airline by.
For domestic travel, the check in time is 2hrs prior to departure and internationally, it can vary between 4 hours and 6 hours prior to departure time.
